Cooking with kids: Crispy chip-coated schnitzel bites

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 kilogram of chicken breast strips
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of frying oil

  • 1 small bag of plain Doritos

Instructions:
  1. Crush the potato chips and Doritos inside their bags using a rolling pin, mix with the bread crumbs, then season with a pinch of salt and cumin.
  2. Lightly coat the chicken strips in flour, dip them in the beaten eggs, then cover them with the bread crumbs and chip mixture.
  3. Heat the oil in a wide skillet and fry until golden brown.
  4. Transfer the fried chicken to a dish lined with absorbent paper and serve with ketchup and mayonnaise.
