His Colombian national team failed to qualify for the prestigious tournament because of a shock home defeat to Peru.
It's unclear why the player landed in Israel, but sources say he is here for a vacation. It is also worth noting this isn't Juan's first visit to the Jewish state. He was actually in the Holy Land last month, when Maccabi Haifa hosted Juventus and beat the Italian giants in a shock defeat.
While experiencing an abysmal failure in this season's Champions League campaign, having recorded no less than five defeats in six games, Juventus put pause on its season before the World Cup hiatus on a high note. The team recorded their sixth consecutive league victory against Lazio on Sunday, winning 3:0.
Cuadrado is a veteran player, having played at the highest levels of European football for 13 years with teams such as Fiorentina and London giants Chelsea, before signing a contract with Juventus.
