The Winter Dreams Light Sculpture Exhibition is on display at the Jerusalem Botanical Garden. As darkness falls at 5:00 p.m. the garden display opens to visitors, featuring dozens of illuminated displays of impressive sizes up to five meters high and eight meters long.
The sculptures are placed on a route about a kilometer long, and include a dragon, a unicorn, a whale, a lion, a horse and a golden fairy-tale princess carriage, the Tree of Love, a rhinoceros, a shining star and many other shapes. In addition to the dozens of giant sculptures, the Botanical Garden premises are lit up with nearly a million LED lights in different colors.
Along the route, you will encounter illuminated sculptures, feel the winter atmosphere, and you can stop at a special winter market with stalls from well-known chefs, such as Guy Gamzo and Tomer Agay, and the Byrne Market company - which offer winter dishes.
"This year, we decided to mount the biggest winter event in the country with a huge and impressive light display that has never been seen before in Israel," said the Botanical Garden's CEO, Tom Amit.

In these days it was important for us to do something that would illuminate the country, bring back hope and light to all the country's residents," he added.
