Hollywood celebs descend on Paris for Olympics

From Ariana Grande’s chic look to Tom Cruise’s surprise appearance, showbiz finest making sure they're seen as athletes compete for gold

While we're glued to our screens watching the Olympic Games, some lucky (and let's be real, wealthy) folks jetted off to gorgeous Paris to catch the action live. And by "some," we obviously mean Hollywood stars. Whether they're sports fans or not, it's the perfect excuse to flaunt their best outfits and snag prime seats among other A-listers.
Take Jessica Chastain, for example, who showed up with her daughter and sat just one row below the legendary Anna Wintour, who was all in, watching alongside Australian director Baz Luhrmann. Another superstar in the mix? Ariana Grande, looking fab in a white dress and matching shades, even giving Wintour a warm kiss. After all, this is the woman who decides the Met Gala guest list. Sitting next to Grande were her brother Frankie and actress Cynthia Erivo, Grande’s co-star in the upcoming movie "Wicked," hitting theaters this November.

Nicole Kidman and hubby Keith Urban used the Olympics for some quality family time, cheering with their daughters Sunday Rose (16) and Faith (13). And, of course, they snapped a cute family selfie.
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen also brought along two of their kids, trying to make the most of the summer break. Judging by Luna and Miles' rather bored expressions, though, they'd probably rather be playing Brawl Stars or something.
Hollywood’s eternal sports fanatic Tom Cruise was also there. Given that he has loads of free time and doesn’t really do the dad thing, it’s no shocker. No word on whether he ran into his ex, Nicole Kidman, but we’re crossing our fingers for some juicy drama.
Lady Gaga wasn’t missing out either. She not only performed at the opening ceremony last Friday but also spilled the beans to Prime Minister Gabriel Attal about her engagement to Michael Polansky. We zoomed in – no ring spotted yet, but stay tuned!

Nick Jonas made an appearance too, unfortunately without wife Priyanka Chopra, but he made sure to have a cold beer in hand to fully enjoy the event.
And if you ask us, the real star of the Olympics – in the audience, that is – is Snoop Dogg. His endless array of hilarious expressions for the photographers capturing the crowd totally steals the show, making this piece way more entertaining.
