Rapper Kanye West referenced his antisemitic rants in a new song he released on Wednesday evening via Instagram, titled "Someday We'll All Be Free".
“Tweeted deathcon, Now we past three" was amongst the verses in West's new rap, referring to antisemitic remarks he made in which he vowed to "go death con 3 ON JEWISH PEOPLE".
Only last week, the American rapper praised Hitler during an interview alongside Holocaust-denier Nick Fuentes with right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, which was also alluded to in the track.
A clip of his interview with Jones plays at the end of the song, in which Jones can be heard saying “Can we just kind of say, like, you like the uniforms but that’s about it?”
The song then plays Ye's response to Jones: “No, there’s a lot of things that I love,” and goes on to fade out with the line "that I love."
In line with his racist connotations, the rap includes a verse referring to "Karen", a pejorative term for a white woman perceived as entitled or demanding.
"And everyone’s a Karen / When they claim they care and / Wasn’t given a fair hand," the lyrics read.
Throughout the song, lasting just over two minutes, West uses a sample of Donny Hathaway's song "Someday We'll Be All Be Free" from 1973. Hathaway apparently wrote the song while battling with depression and schizophrenia. Since the original song was released, it has received a variety of interpretations some relating to blacks civil rights.
