Try this quick and easy recipe that will likely be gobbled up quickly.
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup dark sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 tbs. vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups of self-rising flour
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup milk (of any kind)
For frosting:
- 100 grams dark chocolate
- 1/3 cup double cream (can be replaced with coconut milk)
- Healthy pinch of sea salt
Instructions:
- Crush bananas in a bowl, add sugar oil, eggs and vanilla and mix.
- Slowly fold in flour until the mixture is smooth
- Fold in chocolate chips and a pinch of salt
- Pour into oiled English cake baking pan and put into the oven that was pre-heated to 170° C (338° F) for 35 to 40 minutes and cool
- Melt chocolate and cream for your frosting and pour over the cake
