Since the outbreak of war more than seven months ago, Montana Tucker, a Jewish-American singer with over 12 million followers on TikTok and Instagram, has put herself at the forefront of Israeli advocacy as she uses her influence on social media to explain to the world what happened here on October 7.
In December, Tucker came to Israel to try to help in person, and this week she landed again for a solidarity visit at the invitation of CAM, the Combat Antisemitism Movement.
Since then, the Jewish-American star has been sharing pro-Israel content. In February, she even attended the Grammy Awards ceremony with a huge yellow ribbon and calling for the return of the hostages, which sparked quite a bit of interest around the world and on social media.
On Wednesday, Tucker fought off her jet lag while opening her visit with a celebratory dinner held at the Kempinski Hotel Tel Aviv. She met a few familiar faces while other Israeli celebrities came to make the American star's acquaintance.
Around the table, we met Stephane Leger, Lior Suchard, Roni Duani, Ella-Lee Lahav, Ashley Waxman Bakshi, Moran Tarasov and 2021 Miss Israel Noa Cochva - who recently returned from an outreach trip in the United States.
