In light of the deal that is near fruition to return the hostages, "Fauda" star Idan Amedi addressed his followers on social media and urged them not to attack those who oppose the deal.
"In the coming days, the details of the hostage deal and its prices will reach every home in Israel. Anyone who follows me closely knows that I have been deeply involved in the issue of the missing and the hostages for many years. Therefore, unfortunately, I know that there will be staunch opponents of the deal,"Amedi wrote.
"To the majority in favor of a deal, and I am among them of course, I urge them not to be drawn into attacks and blows online, in the Knesset or anywhere else against those who oppose it. This benefits our enemies on the immediate level," he added.
"The State of Israel was established first and foremost to be a fortress for the Jewish people. The disgrace of October 7 cannot be repaired, but our moral duty is to bring our brothers and sisters home from hell," he wrote and signed off with: "All of Israel is responsible for each other."
