More stories:
Tango, which originated in Argentine taverns in the mid-19th century, has long been considered entertainment for the lower classes of society and the Old World gave up on it altogether.
But there is no other dance in the world with such energy and genuine allure. With exceptional elegance and unparalleled technique, tango is a powerful dialog between movement and music, driven by desire.
The Argentine danseur breathes new life into the traditional partner dance and injects his vigor and vision in pursuit of innovative and passionate art.
At the core of his work lies the preservation of tango tradition through various different social classes and a tinge of modernity - with rich music, colorful costumes and intricate dance moves, all exuding sensuality and charisma.
Ayala and his partner Paola Camacho make up a powerful duo, and along with five other couples in the ensemble, convey a mesmerizing story with theatrical virtuosity.
The ten-show tour will mark the trailblazing hoofer's first return to Israel since 2017. Tickets will range between NIS 189 and NIS 289.
