Grammy-winning U.S. rapper 50 Cent will arrive in Israel for a single show at Tel Aviv's Menora Mivtachim Arena on July 4 as part of his upcoming world tour set to launch in London this coming June. Ticket prices will start at NIS 349.
50 Cent, the nom de theatre of Curtis Jackson III, has cultivated a successful musical career that spans more than 25 years, during which he has sold over 30 million albums worldwide.
Among the artist's most recognized hits are In Da Club off of his 2003 multi-platinum debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin’, as well as Candy Shop and Just a Lil Bit from his second studio effort The Massacre which was released in 2005.
This will not be the American rapper/actor/entrepreneur's first visit to the Jewish State. He previously performed in Israel in 2006 at the Ramat Gan Stadium. He came back to the Holy Land seven years later to promote one of his products.
The Queens rapper is the latest addition to Israel's star-studded summer, with leading acts such as American pop rock band Maroon 5, English rock band Deep Purple, Canadian pop star Justin Bieber and hard rockers Three Days Grace all slated to grace the stages in the Holy Land this year.
