Bella Hadid's anti-Israel campaign continues, and this time she reached a new low when she claimed that Hamas baked a cake for rescued hostage Almog Meir Jan on his birthday. Israeli and American celebrities fought back against the lies told by the anti-Israel activists.
Next to the false caption, the post showed Almog with his mother in the hospital after the successful rescue operation last week. Khaled Beydoun, a law professor at Arizona State University, published the original post. As of now, he has 2.4M followers on Instagram, undoubtedly predominantly pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel activists.
"A bunch of lies," was the response from Israeli internet persona "Hapshuta" (operated by Bar Elmaleh), "Not 'released,' he was rescued by the IDF. Not captive, he was kidnapped from the Nova party. Not 'presented him with birthday cake,' they mocked him on his birthday. He never said they cared about him, he was tortured. Stop sympathies with terrorists. Try to mention that his father passed away that morning and he didn't say goodbye."
Scooter Broun, the international Jewish producer, debunked Hadid's false claims in his Instagram story. "One.. not released... RESCUED. Two this is not the movie Misery. You don't get to normalize kidnapping and taking someone hostage by making them a cake WTF. I'm tired of this. Just say you are grateful a hostage is home and demand the rest are returned or saved and the war ends. Then bake a cake."
Amanda Hirsch, an American-Israeli blogger, also responded to Hadid's lies on her 859 thousand followers- strong -Instagram account. "This is a lie and such a fucked thing to share with 50 million people trying to make Hamas seem kind??? LOL."
The Jewish American actor Michael Rapaport, who since the outbreak of the war has made several visits to Israel, shared a post on his Instagram account, which reads: "Recent lies that Bella Hadid shared to her 61 million followers." Commenting on Bella Hadid's shared birthday cake post Rapaport wrote: "They baked him a cake? All is forgiven."
