On Friday evening, after a year of dating, Bayern Munich goalkeeper Daniel Peretz proposed to Israeli pop star Noa Kirel. She said yes, and the couple celebrated the engagement with friends, family and a stunning diamond ring.
Peretz, who resides in Germany, had been planning the proposal for weeks, purchasing the over 3-carat diamond ring two months ago from the international Israeli jewelry brand GEMMA. The ring is valued at approximately 100,000 shekels. "It's the most beautiful ring in the world, he has great taste," Kirel said during the celebrations.
The proposal took place aboard a boat in Herzliya Marina, where Peretz got down on one knee in a romantic setting and presented the luxurious ring, to which Kirel couldn't say no. The couple later celebrated with loved ones in a private room at a Herzliya restaurant.
Peretz declined to reveal how long he had been planning the proposal, noting, "Her mother has excellent taste and helped me." Kirel added, "He really surprised me—it was perfect and magical. We're keeping the details to ourselves, but thank you for all the love, it means so much."
