Two weeks after sustaining severe injuries during combat in Gaza, singer and actor Idan Amedi will be discharged from Sheba Medical Center on Wednesday for home rehabilitation. Before his release, Amedi has requested to hold a press conference at Sheba Medical Center, after which he will be discharged.

The pop star, who has five studio albums under his belt, has been serving in the Combat Engineering Corps since the beginning of the war. He was severely wounded during an explosion in the central Gaza Strip on January 8.
Following the incident, the Fauda star was swiftly transported to the hospital, where he received treatment for shrapnel wounds. After a few days, he was discharged from the trauma department.
With his condition continuing to improve, Amedi is now anticipated to be released for home rehabilitation with Sheba Beyond, an initiative by Sheba Medical Center that provides remote medical services through telemedicine.
