The Israeli drama series "Bad Boy" has been picked up by Netflix and is set to stream in approximately 190 countries, as announced on Tuesday by HOT broadcasting network.
Directed by Hagar Ben-Asher and created by Ron Leshem, who also brought us "Euphoria," the original Israeli version that inspired HBO's hit series, "Bad Boy" draws its storyline from the life of comedian Daniel Chen.
Chen not only stars in the series but also contributes as part of the writing team. The plot follows Dean Scheinman (played by Guy Menschter), who finds himself in a juvenile detention center and is destined to become a successful comedian.
