Israeli television star and model Anna Aronov arrived at a special Purim gala held on Wednesday in Tel Aviv wearing a detailed costume of American pop sensation Miley Cyrus.
Taking inspiration from the songstress’ recently released clip Flowers, Aronov wore the signature golden dress featured in the video complete with a platinum blond wig.
Despite only starting her modeling career in 2019, Aronov has already landed campaigns for top Israeli brands such as Castro and Golf, and was featured on the pages of leading fashion magazines.
Cyrus’ song Flowers, was released back in January to rave reviews, staying at the top of music charts in the U.S. and UK for weeks. Beginning her career in 2006 in the show “Hannah Montana,” Cyrus has continued to develop her musical repertoire and visual style which has caused some to criticize her controversial decision.
Other Israeli celebrities also modeled their costumes on American cultural icons such as Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, who were inspirations for reality television alumni Romi Geyor and Nadav Bornstein.
