Taylor Swift continues to shatter records, concluding her global tour with earnings exceeding $2 billion, according to Forbes. Approximately $1.04 billion came from her U.S. shows, while $1.15 billion was generated from her international performances.
After 149 shows across the globe, the American singer-songwriter wrapped up her international The Eras Tour on Monday morning with a final performance in Vancouver. More than 10 million people attended the tour.
"Thank you for making this tour something completely different from anything I’ve ever done in my life," Swift told the audience. "With your traditions, your passio, and your care for this tour. That’s the lasting legacy of this tour. You created a space of joy and love together."
The Eras Tour, which began in March 2023, is now the most profitable tour in history, with estimated earnings surpassing $2 billion. Over the course of the tour, Swift performed 149 shows in 50 cities across five continents. Each concert featured 46 songs and lasted 3.5 hours. This achievement broke Elton John’s previous record for the highest-grossing tour in history. His Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, which concluded in July 2023, earned over $900 million.
