Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv and the club’s fans have raised some 50,000 shekels to support the rehabilitation of former hostage Yarden Bibas. The funds were collected as part of a project to sell the team’s orange jersey bearing the portraits of his wife and children, Shiri, Ariel and Kfir Bibas, who were killed in Hamas captivity in Gaza.
"We embrace the Bibas-Silberman family and commemorate the memory of those who were murdered," the club said in a statement on Monday. "We are proud and moved to share that, thanks to our dedicated fans who participated in the initiative, we managed to raise about 44,000 shekels. Out of a sense of duty and a desire to contribute more, the club completed the sum to reach 50,000 shekels, which was delivered to Yarden Bibas this morning."

Shiri, Ariel and Kfir Bibas were abducted from their home in Nir Oz by Hamas during the October 7 massacre and were later killed while in captivity. Their bodies were returned to Israel along with the body of Oded Lifshitz.

Yarden Bibas had been kidnapped earlier from the kibbutz grounds. During the deadly terror attack, Shiri’s parents, Yossi and Margit Silberman, also were killed. Their remains were identified several weeks after the massacre.
