Mosab Hassan Yousef, the former Shin Bet operative and son of a senior Hamas leader, will hold his first public event in Israel on January 29 at Hangar 11 in Tel Aviv Port. Tickets for the event are priced between 259 and 459 shekels.
Yousef, 46, earned the nickname "The Green Prince" during his time as an informant for Israel’s Shin Bet security agency. His worldview shifted while imprisoned in an Israeli jail in the late 1990s, leading him to rebel against Hamas ideology, which he once supported as an active member of the terrorist group.
In 2005, Yousef converted to Christianity, and in 2009, he published his memoir, Son of Hamas, which gained global attention for its extraordinary story.

Granted political asylum in the United States in 2010, Yousef has been a vocal critic of Hamas and its backers, often requiring a security detail due to threats. In 2014, his life story was chronicled in the documentary The Green Prince, directed by Nadav Schirman.
Since the October 7 Hamas-led massacre, Yousef has taken an even harsher stance against the group, becoming a prominent advocate for Israel’s actions on social media and in international media outlets.
