A new docu-reality series is set to follow the life of Israeli pop star Noa Kirel and her close circle, Ynet learned on Saturday. The series has already begun filming and will air on the Israeli broadcasting network yes.
Kirel, 23, is deepening her collaboration with the network after serving as the company’s brand ambassador in recent years. She’s also expected to take on a dramatic acting role in a series that will air at a later date.
Kirel is naturally set to be the main heroine of the new series. However, as is typical for the genre, her close circle including her friends, family and work team, will also play a part. Kirel's team confirmed the details to Ynet.
Kirel, one of Israel's biggest stars, represented the country in the Eurovision Song Contest about two years ago and became the youngest Israeli singer to perform twice in a row at Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park.
Kirel finished in third place in the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Unicorn," marking the highest finish for Israel since 2018 when Netta Barzilai came in first place with "Toy." Sweden's Loreen was announced as the grand winner of the European Song Contest, with "Tattoo."
