The Shin Bet revealed on Tuesday photos and details behind the security detail arranged for the Israeli delegation to the Eurovision Song Contest - "Operation Hurricane."

"This was a challenging security operation that required a lot of ingenuity, creativity, and cooperation with local security agencies in Sweden," security officials told Ynet.
The Shin Bet’s security detail at Eurovision was significantly greater than seen in previous years - and one of the biggest details ever, including a visit to Malmo by Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar a week before the competition took place. Detailed security coordination with local security forces took place, and local snipers also accompanied Golan while stationed on the rooftops.

"Ensuring the safety of the Israeli delegation during wartime was a victory for Eden and for the entire country," the security officials added. "Despite the threats, protests, and tense atmosphere, the operation ended as best as it could have."
The Shin Bet’s official Instagram post read, "Dozens of men and women from the VIP protection unit, in collaboration with security units and other bodies in the service alongside the intelligence community, took part in the mission to protect and secure the Israeli delegation. We were there around you day and night. We did everything so that Eden could represent the State of Israel with pride and dignity."
