Singer Eden Alene, who represented Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest two years ago, was spotted on a night night out in Tel Aviv in a rare public appearance since announcing retirement from music.
A Ynet photographer caught Alene with one of her friends walking down a boulevard in central Tel Aviv.
Alene, 22, rarely appears in public events, and has retreated from social media platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram since quitting the music industry earlier this year.
In July, Alene was photographed while working at a restaurant in Tel Aviv, and one of the singer’s relatives at the time said, “Eden wants a rest from music and performing.”
Alene, first ever Israeli of Ethiopian descent to represent the nation at the Eurovision, won the chance to compete at the prestigious singing competition having won the “The Star is Born” reality contest in February 2020.
The singer came in 17th at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest in Holland, performing her hit song "Set Me Free".
