Fauda star Idan Amedi plans to return to the stage after war injury

Actor and singer-songwriter plans to release new album ahead of February concert tour, contingent on progress of his recovery from injuries sustained during his time in Gaza

Actor and singer-songwriter Idan Amedi, known for his role in the hit series Fauda, is set to return to the stage following his recovery from serious injuries sustained during the fighting in Gaza, Ynet learned on Wednesday.
Amedi aims to launch a concert tour in February, contingent on the progress of his rehabilitation. He also plans to release a new album of his songs ahead of the tour.

A member of the IDF Combat Engineering Corps, Amedi joined the fighting at the start of the war and has since been a vocal advocate for Israel’s military efforts. Amid international criticism and legal action against Israel in The Hague, Amedi has emphasized the importance of countering misinformation.
"We found tunnels and weapons everywhere we went—in homes, in school bags," he said. "It is important that the world knows this."
