On the anniversary of October 7th, Gal Gadot - the biggest Israeli star in the world - addressed the world in English with a clear and unambiguous message: "On October 7th, my country experienced one of the most horrific acts of terror: 1,400 people - women, children, elderly and men - were brutally murdered, and many more were injured," she wrote to her 108 million followers on Instagram.
"We still have 101 hostages being held captive in Gaza under the most inhumane conditions. We will never forget them, and we will always fight for their release," she concluded, and signed the post with the hashtag #BringThemHomeNow.
Since that terrible morning on October 7, Gadot joined the international advocacy arena and shared posts, stories and even allowed the families of the hostages to use the great exposure she has on the social media networks. She published the first photos of the young men and women who were abducted from the Nova music festival, even before it was known that they had been kidnapped.
