Pop star Madonna is not a stranger to controversial antics, but her latest post on Instagram had people raising an eyebrow or two.
The sexagenarian singer posted a picture of herself with her breasts fully on show, with nothing but emojis covering her them. Just enough to avoid an Instagram ban. Smart move, material girl!
Wearing a golden corset with a modesty panel and fishnet stockings, sans the top, Madonna is seen in what is likely her "glam room," with mirrors scattered throughout.
The singer appears to direct her seductive expression squarely at the camera, highlighting her straight, brownish locks with remnants of pink hair dye.
It appears the new images were meant as a promotional tool for her album Erotica's 30th anniversary, originally released in October of 1992.
The album was released right along a near-pornographic coffee table book of hers, appropriately named 'Sex." In the early 90s, the book was met with a myriad of criticism, mainly from anti-porn groups who called the photos in the book "inappropriate, hardcore pornography."
The three-track vinyl accompanied the release, but was excluded from retail stores due to racy content. Most notably, it had the "toe sucking" photo on the front and the "Madonna Erotica" logo on the back.
The promotional push included featured a "30th anniversary" video, which was released about an hour before the full frontal Instagram photos.
Madonna performed at Tel Aviv Park HaYarkon in 2009 and returned with a performance at a Grand Finale of a Eurovision Song Contest that was held in Israel in 2019.
