The production team for Noa Kirel’s upcoming concert at Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv has been officially notified that the show, scheduled for this Sunday, will be postponed once again, Ynet learned on Tuesday. Ticket holders have yet to be informed.
The concert, originally slated for September and later moved to October during the Sukkot holiday, has now been rescheduled for November 5. The decision follows Home Front Command’s restrictions, which currently limit gatherings to 2,000 people in the central region due to ongoing security concerns.
Kirel, who previously expressed her frustration over the uncertainty in a social media post, emphasized that she would never endanger her fans. "This crazy situation of uncertainty—something changes every second. I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but I will never do anything that puts my audience at risk. I want us to have the amazing show we’ve been working on when it’s truly safe to do so," she said.
The concert’s producers, Live Nation Israel and Kirel, jointly decided to postpone the event due to the ongoing rocket fire toward Tel Aviv and the changing security situation. Tickets already purchased will remain valid for the new date, with no need for exchanges.
At a press conference before the event’s initial postponement, Kirel addressed the challenges of holding the concert amid the escalating hostilities. "I feel committed to my audience and the Israeli cultural world, even in the face of war and terror. We need to show that they won’t defeat us," she said, adding, "As long as the Home Front Command doesn't stop me, I won't stop. Music is the most beautiful thing in the world, and I am committed to giving that to my audience and my country."
