Britain’s King Charles III arrived looking health and happy with Queen Camilla on their visit to Australia.
They arrived down under on a six-day tour on Sunday and attended services at St Thomas’ Anglican Church in Sidney.
"I touched the king and it was great," a young Australian boy shouted gleefully. "The king is so nice, so kind," another well-wisher out to welcome the monarchs said.
In May, the royal palace announced that the king was diagnosed with cancer and would begin treatments. Soon after, his daughter-in-law, Princess Katherine also said she had cancer.
Reports earlier this month claimed that Charles was taking a break from treatments to begin his royal tour, which is expected to be taxing, with up to 10 royal events in a day and just one day off for a much-needed rest. Sources close to the couple said this decision was indication that the king was doing well and showed his commitment to his duties.
