Oven-baked sweet chicken

You will need:

  • 2 large onions
  • 15 walnuts
  • 6 prunes
  • 5 dried apricots
  • 50 grams of raisins
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 5 bay leaves
  • Chicken cut into 6
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg

For the sauce:
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1–2 cups date molasses
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 200° C (390° F).
  2. Put onions cut into strips, nuts and spices and place the chicken over them.
  3. Mix sauce ingredients and pour over the chicken, cover with tin foil and bake for 60-90 minutes.
  4. Lower temperature to 180° and remove the tin foil.
  5. Base the chicken with the sauce and bake for another 15 minutes until brown.
  6. Enjoy.
