Firebrand rapper 6ix9ine to perform in Israel in May

Brooklyn native set to headline a show at Rishon Lezion's Live Park, where fans are sure to hear hits like Gummo and Fefe, that broke viewing records on YouTube, before the rapper was jailed on racketeering charges

If you're in the mood for a night of hard-hitting HipHop hits, then mark May 2 on your calendar. Firebrand American rapper 6ix9ine announced he will perform a single show in Israel this spring.

  • The show is set to be held at Rishon Lezion's Live Park Amphitheater, with ticket prices starting at NIS 300 ($85).

    The rapper, also known as Tekashi and born Daniel Hernandez, hails from Brooklyn and first emerged in 2017 with hit single "Gummo," which has amassed over 800 million views on YouTube. His collaboration with Nicki Minaj on the song "Fefe," has surpassed a billion views on the video sharing platform.
    He had taken a hiatus from after being convinced on racketeering charges and sentenced to two years in prison. He was denounced by some in the Hip Hop community over "snitching," after Hernandez he had helped prosecutors send several of his former gang associates in the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods to prison.
