A show reuniting the stars of the popular Argentine telenovella "Rebelde Way," which was supposed to take place in Israel, has been postponed, the producers announced.
"The producers of the 'Rebelde Way' show share in the grief of the families over the terrible disaster, and announce that in light of the developments and the complex security situation, the 'Rebelde Way' reunion show will be postponed to another date," the production said Sunday after the announcement of the rescue of the bodies of six slain Israeli hostages from Gaza.
"The stars of 'Rebelde Way' are waiting and looking forward to returning to Israel and reuniting on stage after 20 years, and have already done all the rehearsals for the show in Argentina in recent months," the producers also said.
"The show will be moved to a new date that we will announce when the security situation becomes clear. All tickets purchased for the show on September 15 will be valid for the new date, those who wish to cancel the tickets they purchased will be credited immediately," according to the Israeli producers.
This is the second time the show has been postponed, after it was supposed to be held in April at Rishon LeZion Live Park and was moved to September.
