Hollywood stars share the pain of murdered hostages' families

Celebrities post on social media their thoughts and condolences for the 6 murdered hostages the IDF recovered on Sunday; Hollywood did not shy away from politics and wished the rest of the hostages would return home

In these difficult times, it is not easy to find Hollywood stars who openly express support for Israel and talk about the atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7 and the hostages who have been in captivity for almost a year.

However, some celebrities do not hesitate to be on the right side of history and express sympathy such as Cindy Crawford and her daughter, the model and actress Kaia Gerber, as well as musicians such as will.i.am and Sia, who recently visited the Nova exhibit in Los Angeles.
Following the terrible news on Sunday about the six hostages who were murdered in Gaza, about 48 hours before being rescued, several celebrities shared the news on social media and expressed their grief and anger. They shared the pain and anguish with the families of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Ori Danino, Alex Lobanov, Almog Sarusi, Carmel Gat and Eden Yerushalmi.
Ben Stiller tweeted on Monday to his 5.4 million followers: "Sending love and support to the families of the hostages [whose] lives were taken so brutally. So many people are sharing this pain. My family's heart goes out to you." He added three blue hearts.
Gwyneth Paltrow, who has 8.7 million followers, also wrote in a story: To the families of each hostage whose life was stolen, I have thought of you every day for 11 months, but today I send you my heart." Candace Cameron Bure from the "Fuller House" series also shared her feelings about the hostages and her grief.

Celebrities who have stood with Israel since the very beginning of the war also shared their thoughts and feelings about the devastating news. Mayim Bialik shared Noa Tishbi's video in which she talks about the hostages who were murdered and dedicated a special post to Hersh Goldberg-Polin who was a dual American and Israeli citizen.

"His parents spoke at the DNC just over a week ago as thousands chanted 'Bring Them Home' in response to their speech," she wrote. "May Hersh's memory be only for a blessing, and may we see the return of the hostages and an end to this endless suffering."
Actress Debra Messing, who has visited Israel a few times since October 7, shared a number of stories related to the hostages, their deaths and the campaign to bring them home. On Monday, she posted a call for action, requesting her followers to contact the White House and their Congressional representatives to take action against those who support terrorism. She pointed out that, despite the fact that she does bot like Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he did agree to a deal proposed by Qatar and the U.S. and the compromise deal, while Hamas refused both.

Michael Rapaport, who has visited Israel several times since the outbreak of the war, has also shared countless stories and posts related to the kidnapped and murdered in recent days, including a video of the euloigy of Rachel, Hersh Goldberg-Polin's mother, as did comedian Sarah Silverman.
Australian actor Nathaniel Buzolic, who is considered an honorary resident of Israel, was the first celebrity to arrive in Israel after the October 7 massacre. He has been very vocal about the hostages' executions and has posted related content for his 3.2 million followers. He posted an emotional video honoring Rachel Goldberg-Polin's struggle through her son's 331-day captivity and grieved with her for her loss.
