In Ganei Tikva Regional Council, a 23-year-old woman was taken to Sheba Medical Center with a head injury after she was hit on the head with a tree branch that was carried by the wind.
In the city of Rosh HaAyin, a palm tree collapsed due to strong winds and fell on a local synagogue. No injuries were reported.
The heavy rains also caused heavy damage to houses and property in several Arab localities around the country, where dilapidated infrastructure failed to handle the significant amount of rainfall.
"It happens to us every year," said Ahmad Assadi from Deir al-Assad in the Galilee, where an entire street was flooded. "Unfortunately no one will provide us with a solution. Meaning this will continue as long as it rains.”

Streets were also flooded in the city of Qalansuwa in central Israel where dozens of residents were forced out of their homes due to the city’s poor infrastructure.
"Every year there are floods in our city," a local called Abdel Salameh told Ynet.
"Every year, we are always told that the problem was solved, but with the first rain, it turns out that the treatment of the problem was not professional by any means."
