Jackal drags baby out of tent, at Negev campsite

Father of a 14-month-old child says he heard his wife's scream that their baby was missing; the child was found slightly hurt,  meters away, where the animal had dropped him

A 14-month-old baby was hurt after a jackal bit him and dragged him from his family's tent in a Negev campsite.
The baby's father said he had left a small opening in the tent late on Friday night and rushed back when he heard his wife scream that the baby was gone. "The jackal must have dragged him for a few meters before letting him go," The Nature and Parks Authority said adding a search to find the jackal was underway.
