Flash floods set to hit Israel amid unseasonal October heat

Meteorologists say while temperatures will remain relatively warm in coming days, Tuesday will see showers in some parts of the country; next week weather set to cool

Local authorities on issued a flash flood warning for the Judean and Negev deserts from Monday afternoon until Wednesday afternoon.

    In the northern city of Haifa, the temperatures will dip from 26 degrees Celsius during the day Monday to 20 degrees at night. In Tel Aviv, the weather will be similar with a range of 28 degrees during the day and 20 degrees at night. In Jerusalem, the weather will reach 29 degrees Celsius during the day and falling to 19 degrees overnight.
    In the southern city of Be’er Sheva, temperatures will range from 33 degrees throughout the day to 17 degrees at night. In Israel's southernmost city of Eilat, the weather will be warmer with 35 degrees during the day and 24 at night.
