This year, 3,643 entries were submitted for judging, with a total prize pool of $12,000. "The entry threshold to be included in the competition’s book (ranking in the Top 101) was a score of 86.5%," said Peter Eastway, chair of the judging panel. "The competition was tough, and I don’t think any of the 101 top photographers would disagree if I said that the next 100 entries could have easily been included in the book as well."
