Refreshing Files

The browser maintains special files to facilitate and sometime speed up surfing (If you are using a fast Internet connection, this may not apply.). These files are known as Cache files. A temporary malfunction can be "saved" in these files and thus repeat itself.

To solve such errors, the cache files must be deleted (This will not damage your computer.). To do so, follow these instructions:

At the top of your browser click "Tools" then select "Internet Options." Click the "Delete Files" button in the center of the pop-up window. Click “OK” in the next pop-up window. (Deleting these files may take several seconds.) Click “OK” again, close all browser windows and re-access Ynetnews.

Cookies also facilitate surfing. These files are essential for such online procedures as registration, security and surfer identification. Similar to Cache files, cookies can also "preserve" malfunctions causing them to repeat. In contrast to Cache files, erasing Cookie files can cause some inconvenience. After erasing files, you will be asked to renter your username and password on your first entry into sites.

To erase cookie files, follow these instructions:

In the browser click on "Tools" > select "Internet Options." Click "Delete Cookies" at the center of the pop-up window, and click “OK” in the next pop-up window.

Click “OK” in any open windows, close all Internet browser windows, and re-access Ynetnews.
