After criticism of new logo, National Library returns to old one
The new logo caused an uproar for being undistinctive and containing no national symbols; Education Minister Yoav Kish even sent a letter to the board of directors in which he implores them to return the old logo: 'The new symbol is severed from any connection and identity with the Jewish people, the State of Israel, Zionism and the Hebrew language'; Library: 'We considered the opinions and reasons that were voiced, and decided that the library will return to the previous logo'
