Judy Mozes opens the newest episode of her web series Judy and the Big City with mixed emotions as her eldest son's milestone birthday approaches. While sharing her feelings, she reveals, “I couldn't fall asleep at all last night. I fear he'll think I'm a terrible mother for not being there on his milestone birthday, and it really bothered me.”

The topic becomes even more emotional when the media personality reveals that it's also Mother's Day in America, but her sons did not reach out to greet her.
Meanwhile, her ex-husband Steve told her their son is probably flying to Ukraine. “It suits my kid, with the biggest heart in the world. The most genius child. Being there. Celebrating his birthday in a place like Ukraine,” she says before the long-awaited call from her eldest son arrives, and at that moment, she breaks down in tears.
Mozes made the bold decision to leave everything behind and embark on a new adventure across the ocean. Together with her partner Avi Rotenberg, she relocated to live in New York, seeking to experience the big city while coping with homesickness.
Later in the episode, she meets someone she dubs “the most important man in New York” and admits that although she enjoys spending time with Israelis, “I would like to get to know American society more and I need to make an effort in that direction, even though it's much easier for you to sit and speak Hebrew all evening.” Watch the full segment at the beginning of the article!
