Shavuot celebrations at Hof HaCarmel

The Hof HaCarmel Regional Council, in collaboration with the Carmelim Tourism Association, is launching a Banana Race - a running event, offering three distance options (the shortest of which is 2 kilometers long), through the banana farms of Hof HaCarmel. At the end of the race, you'll be greeted by a variety of food stalls and activities.
Also, an agricultural and art fair will take place at the Merkaz Meirav, including street performances, an exhibition of collectors vehicles, stands selling local produce, forest activities in collaboration with KKL-JNF, lantern tours in Ein Hod, Caesarea, Nahsholim, and Hof Dor, music performances, a wine festival in Caesarea, an open dance session in Neve Yam, and more.

Shavuot for the whole family at the "Zifzif" Inn

"Zumu", the community-based mobile museum, will arrive in Acre and establish a creative and artistic road inn. The mobile museum's big exhibition, which includes approximately 70 artists, will be displayed in the old Egged complex in Acre, and will transform into a lively and inviting inn. Throughout Shavuot, it will host a celebration for families and will hold a cheesecake competition, musical performances, workshops, plays, and guided tours.

Celebrating Shavuot at Madatech

This festival is full of scientific wonders, featuring a smokin' show in which fire will travel inside a glass tube, make a paper disappear in rapid fire, cause another paper to set fire - without actually burning it, create a tornado, and more. Additionally, there will be a wet show where rockets will be launched, water will change colors, and clouds and a fountain will be created. Lastly, a celebration of soap bubbles in the science park and a scientific creativity workshop will be available, where visitors can paint and create special water flowers.

Nature celebration at Khan Rosh Pina Shopping Center

Shavuot at the Janco-Dada Museum in Ein Hod

A unique space located on the lower level of the museum where all family members - children, parents, and grandparents - are invited to assume the role of a Dada artist. The Dadalab allows an interactive experience through about 15 different stations inspired by the work of Dada artists and their way of thinking. The visitors are allowed to tear a painting into pieces and create a new creation from the pieces, or connect unexpected objects and turn them into a character. Visitors can also "cook" inside the pot cartoons and thus learn how artists created animated films before the computer era, as well as go on stage with costumes to sing, dance, make a show, take pictures

Yad Mordechai will hold a special workshop for making butter, where you will understand how oil and water mix inside milk and cream, then you will receive a kit and prepare delicious butter, which you can snack on with crackers at the end of the session. The activity also includes a visit to the Honey and Bee House, where you will familiarize yourself with the magical world of bees, and a tour on the kibbutz tractor, through which you can go to different parts of the kibbutz, watch the farm, learn about the milking process, admire the crops of the fields and orchards, and more.
