Israel closed its airspace late on Saturday and said that it would remain closed for international and domestic flights in response to defense establishments instructions.
The Airport Authorities warned urged the public to consult the authority's website to get updates on flights that have been canceled an new schedules that may be posted.
Meanwhile, dozens of military jets were in the air to intercept threats from Iran before reaching Israeli airspace.
FlightRadar 24 posted a map showing what Middle Eastern skies look like after Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan and Egypt, also closed some of their airspace after reports that the Iranian attack of Israel was imminent.
International airlines have canceled their scheduled flights to Israel as well.
