The length of the channel is about 16 kilometers and extends between Kibbutz Sde Nehemiah - where the mountainous Jordan River separated from its original channel - and the Cork bridge, which stands where the southern outlet of Lake Hula used to be.

Eshkol Park

HaBesor National Park (Eshkol Park) is a green area on the banks of the Besor Stream. In the heart of the loess plains of the Western Negev rises a luxuriant spring surrounded by expansive grasslands and thousands of shade trees. Wading pools that are also suitable for toddlers have been prepared there. The National Park is a wonderful place for spending time in nature and an excellent starting point for trips to the Besor region; the Nature and Parks Authority operates an equipped overnight campsite there.
