Israel's Scouts movement said it was moving its summer camps out of the north to safer areas, after its years-long practice of holding the annual events for the youth movement in the Galilee.
Although the woods where the camps were to be held were considered relatively safe from rocket fire, the Scouts movement said it had held risk assessments and had decided to relocate. "Our focus is providing the best experience for the campers, and the summer activities are more crucial today than ever."
"We will continue to do everything possible to provide the campers with an enjoyable and safe summer experience."
