Jerusalem’s Armon Hanatziv Promenade is one of the most beautiful and popular vantage points in Israel’s capital overlooking the Old City, the City of David, the Kidron Valley, Mount of Olives, Mount Zion, the Dome of the Rock and Mount Scopus. A 731-meter-long (2,398 feet) zipline will begin operating from this point, leading directly to the Peace Forest, near the City of David's camping area.
The new zipline, set to open to the public on Wednesday, breaks the Israeli record for the longest zipline in the country, previously standing at less than 400 meters (1,312 feet). The ride will be available to visitors of all ages, with the only restriction being the rider's weight (between 50 kg and 120 kg).
The experience of gliding 731 meters with a view of Jerusalem’s landscape will begin at 157 shekels per ticket, with prices varying depending on discounts and ticket type.
The new extreme attraction was built in collaboration with the City of David, KKL-JNF, the Jerusalem and Heritage Ministry, the Jerusalem Development Authority and the Jerusalem Municipality. It offers visitors an exhilarating and adrenaline-filled ride with breathtaking views of Jerusalem’s Old City.
