'They murdered him,' owner says after dog dies on El Al flight

Gili Moss says her beloved pet died due to airline's negligence in failing to turn on the cargo hold's oxygen; El Al deeply regrets the incident

Vito, a beloved family dog died on an El Al flight despite the family receiving all necessary certificates of approval to transport him in the plane's cargo area.
His owner Gili Moses said she could not stop the tears after her beloved pet Vito dies when the family was on their way to the Georgian Republic. "My husband received gave him all the tests and received all the documents required by the government so that he could be with us as a family," she said.
She said they went through an 'insane' process. "My hear breaks to think El Al forgot they had a dog in the bely of the plane and we were given a corps two hours late. How we loved him," she said. "El Al's was careless and acted irresponsibly. They murdered him. they "forgot" to turn on the oxygen!"

The airline expressed deep regret. "El Al flies hundreds of pets each month and adheres to strict professional codes. We are investigating the matter and are in sensitive communications with the family."
