Irish low-cost giant Ryanair has informed Israeli passengers on Monday that their flights have been canceled, as the extent of the cancellations and their duration remain unclear.
Conversely, Wizz Air will resume flights to Israel on Tuesday Tuesday after a brief hiatus.
Meanwhile, Lufthansa Group, which includes Lufthansa Airlines, Swiss, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings, announced that flight cancellations to Tel Aviv will continue until August 12.
In addition, Delta Air Lines has canceled all flights to Israel until August 10. United Airlines announced that all flights in the coming days are canceled until further notice.
Flydubai has canceled its two nighttime flights to Tel Aviv but continues to operate six daily flights and is preparing to add another flight through Emirates thanks to code-share agreements between the two airlines.
Air Baltic, Latvia's national airline, announced that flights are canceled until August 6. Italian airline ITA Airways has canceled all flights until August 6. Air India, India's national airline, announced that all flights to Israel are canceled until August 8 (inclusive).
Polish airline LOT has canceled all flights until August 6. Aegean Airlines, Greece's national airline, canceled flights until August 7. Air Europa canceled flights until August 7.
Ethiopian Airlines resumed flights yesterday and is operating as usual. Israeli airlines are operating normally, although some Arkia flights, operated by foreign airlines, are experiencing occasional disruptions.
Meanwhile, El Al increased the amount of available flights stating: "El Al and Sundor are continuing to bolster their flight schedules in light of the security situation. The new flights will be offered at a uniform price for passengers whose flights with other airlines were canceled and who wish to fly one-way to Israel. El Al continues to enhance its flight schedule due to the security situation. The new flights can be purchased on the El Al website and through travel agents."
"To assist passengers whose original flights were canceled by their original airline, the new flights will be offered at a uniform price for one-way tickets to Israel in economy class: One-way flights from Larnaca to Tel Aviv will cost $228 for a LITE ticket.
