FLOWERS, the largest flower exhibition in Israel, will be launched during the upcoming Passover holiday at the Expo Tel Aviv complex for eight days at an estimated production cost of around eight million shekels. The exhibition will present different regions with over two million flowers, most of which will be specially flown to Israel from around the world, alongside flowers grown in Israel. Rare flowers will be integrated into the various displays. The exhibition's establishment is entrusted to designer Haya Aloni and multimedia designer Gil Taichman.
More stories:
The exhibition begins in a complex that simulates a magical tropical world where tropical flowers, plants, and ferns will be displayed. The area's highlights will include huge animals, a bridge, and smaller typical animals such as birds, butterflies, monkeys, and snakes, all made from flowers.
In the second part of the exhibition, there will be a flower maze, a huge lake with swans, and an island in the center. From there, the journey continues toward the stars, sun, and moon, designed from flowers accompanied by effects and lighting stunts.
The third part of the exhibition reaches the world of fairy tales with the setting of Alice in Wonderland's tea party table, including a huge chess board and human-sized flower-shaped utensils. In all stages of the exhibition, special flowers from all over the world will be grouped with captions and explanations to enrich the experience. There will be attractions for children and families such as screenings of flower movies, photo booths, designed water fountains, rest areas, and food booths.
The exhibition will take place between April 23 and 30, during the Passover holiday. Sunday to Thursday from 9 am to 9 pm Friday from 9 am to 7 pm and on the holiday eve from 9am to 5:30 pm. Admission starts at 129 shekels.
