Nearly 30 years after its founding, the city of Modi’in is getting its first hotel. The Jacob Hotel chain has officially inaugurated "Jacob Modi’in," which includes 85 rooms and suites. In the future, it will also feature a spa with five treatment rooms, a bar and restaurant open to outside guests, and two large play areas for children.
The hotel, set to welcome its first guests on March 15, spans approximately 6,220 square yards across two floors in the new western complex of the Azrieli Group. This complex also includes commercial spaces, offices and rental housing. An investment of about $1.9 million was made in the hotel's design.
Jacob Hotels emphasized the hotel is equipped to host seminars, conferences, Shabbat Chatan events, and family gatherings, with five meeting rooms, an event and conference hall, a garden for outdoor events, and a large synagogue hall. The venue can accommodate events of up to 150 people and is outfitted with state-of-the-art technology to facilitate both professional and family gatherings at a high level.
The hotel primarily targets business travelers seeking accommodations near Ben Gurion Airport. It is located near a shopping mall and a train station, with plans for a nearby cinema and an Olympic climbing center to open soon. Additionally, the hotel plans to offer its guests guided tours focused on culture and nature in the Modi’in area in the future.
How much does it cost? A midweek night for two starts at $225, including breakfast. On weekends, the price rises slightly to $245 for a standard room.
Einat Ganon, the hotel’s manager and deputy CEO of Jacob Hotels, said this morning: "We are very excited to be a cornerstone of hospitality in Modi’in. The Jacob Modi’in Hotel is a significant milestone for the city and the hospitality industry in Israel. Much thought was put into the planning and design of the hotel to meet the needs of a diverse audience.

Its proximity to the airport makes it a convenient and accessible solution for international tourists and business travelers, while the hotel’s facilities enable the hosting of conferences, company offsite events, and both business and private events. We’ve already received numerous inquiries and have several booked events, which makes us very happy and demonstrates the existing demand."
The Jacob Hotel chain began its journey in 2013 with the acquisition of the Sheinkin Hotel in Tel Aviv. It later expanded with Jacob Tiberias, Jacob Hadera Resort, Jacob Sea Life Nahariya, and Jacob Bat Sheva Jerusalem. Over the past year, the chain added Jacob Neve Ativ and Jacob Eilat to its portfolio. In addition to Jacob Modi’in, another hotel will join the chain in the coming year.
