Israeli airlines El Al, Arkia, and IsraAir received a directive from the Shin Bet Sunday that they are prohibited from landing in Paphos , Cyprus. According to the Shin Bet, "security considerations" led to the extraordinary directive to prevent flights to Paphos.
During the winter the number of flights between Paphos and Israel is relatively low, and there is no travel warning for Paphos itself so it is possible to reach the resort, but not on a direct flight by an Israeli airline.
