Hopefully it will make us some friends in Armenia or Kurds. The Armenians & Kurds have both been victims of genocide and as the jews have been victims of genocide themselves then we should try show a little solidarity with these people. Israel gave Turkey over the years. Neither do we forget that it was with Israel´s help that our leader Ocalan was captured by Turkey. Oh William, just one question, how could Turkey or anyone else kill millions of Armenians while there were not even one million Armenian in Ottoman Empire? They are all respectable historians, and they are Jews. They claim exactly the opposite. They prove that Turks, Circussians, Kurds and Jews were massacred brutally by Armenian terorist Tashnak, Hinchak and Armenian Fedayeen groups. Also, read Justin McCarthy, Norman Stone, Bernard Lewis all prove that there was no such a thing called Armenian genocide, but Armenian themselves were masscaring others in collaboration with Russia, France and Britain. As for Kurds, as I said, it's gonna be the scene of the century watching Israelis bringing a ship of aid to Kurds :) It's like Israelis bringing food to Ismail Haniya and Nasrallah. Israelis wouldn't only commit a suicide by that, but also make a fool of themselves. My Kurdish business partners in London refuse to sell goods and do any business with Israelis since Gaza operation and they keep forwarding anti-Israeli messages everywhere, you can imagine the rest.

Hatay has some Arab population and they are Allawi Arabs, secular and deeply loyal to Turkey. Syria and Turkey recently removed visa regulations, signed military cooperations, trade and economics agreements. So, your words of 'occupied Iskenderun' etc are all your dreams. No problems between Turkey and Syria now. As for Kurds and Kurdistan help, haven't you heard a Kurdish politician was very harshly criticised and even banned from politics after he suggested a possible friendship with Israel. Can you imagine Israel sending aid to Kurds? They would wait eagerly, but not for the aid, for the Israelis to fight. But, go and try, it will be a scene to watch.

this out. Is this a field trip? Are the Kurds and Armenians in need? Of what items? Which village will they be going to? Or who precisely will receive the items and where - the docks? What about customs? Hm! Where is the planning for this trip? This needs adult supervision because it can turn out into a huge embarrassment for the students and Israel. Having lived in turkey for 10 years, I don't see any reason to not be able to do it. There is no blockade or anything. Bring your aid, and deliver it whenever you want. You will not see any resistance.

not only israeli students but from all over the world people from all kind religions are joining an international flotilla from Limasol to South Kurdistan. medio august people from all over the world with all kinds of backgrounds and religions will come to Cyprus and joint the Peacefull Kurdish Flotilla. So these Israeli students will not be alone and will have full support on this 100% peacefull flotilla.

turkish kurd people are free to get aid, to leave the country or to do anyting they want. ... as opposed to Gaza people. I suggest that Flotilla goes to Gaza, it is cheaper and more practical ....

It is worring how many excuses the world have to close their eyes for the suffering of the Kurdish people. And how many excuses for Turkeys behaviour toward the Kurds. Israel and the Palastinians wants peace but this is blocked by the Hamas who is supported by Iran and Turkey. Also Iran occupies part of Kurdistan and yesterday evening and this morning they have killed several kurdish civiliens. i think it is normal that israel wants to control the import to Hamas. Every normal country would check ships going to enemy harbours.
